F&BSOP10 - Make Sure and Quick Service of Guest's Order

 MAKE SURE AND QUICK SERVICE OF GUEST'S ORDER

PROCEDURE

Order the Food and Drink

  • Check the guest's order which had been taken by the waiter/waitress
  • Ensure that the service procedure is right
  • After writing an order ensure that the original has been sent to the kitchen
  • For special request / items, refer to the chef to see if it is possible to prepare the items
  • If the food preparation take longer, inform the guest to wait around 15 to 20 minutes
Checking After Ordered
  • Double check the table and the guest's order after 10 minutes
  • Ensure that the kitchen staff has started the order has been given
  • Inform the chef to prepare the food as soon as possible with the guest is in a rush
  • Staff who in charge at the station has to check with the captain order
  • Set up the cutlery according to the items what the guest ordered
  • Clear the cutlery not necessary to keep on the side station
  • Set up the condiment if needed
