SILVER SERVICE STYLE
Sliver Service is also called as English Service or Platter to Plate Service
- It's a style of service food at formal meals in which the server uses a silver spoon and fork in one hand to serve the food items by item on the diner's plate
- In France, it appears to be now known as a service A Langlaise ( English Service )

THE RULE OF SILVER SERVICE
- Silver Service is mostly done in fine dining restaurant or upscale restaurant
- Food is served at left hand side of the guest [Vegetable, Soup, Condiments, Meat and Sauce]
- Clearing from the right hand side of the guest [Plate, Cutlery, Glassware...]
- Beverage are served from the right hand side of the guest
- Waiter / Waitress always keep moving by clockwise
- The guest to the host's right is served first, usually a female guest
- Use fork and spoon as a tong
- All food is cooked from the kitchen
