F&BSOP07 How to handle VIP Guest

 PROCEDURE

Handling VIP Guest

  • Escort the VIP guest by Manager / Assistant Manager
  • Greet the VIP guest by your culture
  • Address the guest by name [if know]
  • Smile, make eye contact and make polite conversation [if he/she is a regular, ask if they would like their special food or drink order [for their breakfast picnic for ext morning] before, during or after the meal.
  • Take food or drink order and assign an understanding staff member to handle it
  • Check all food and drinks before they are served
  • Approach the VIP if he/she has finished a course, ask whether they liked it or not
  • Check with guest by saying excuse me Sir/Madam is it every thing fine for you?
  • Briefing all staff during the daily briefing if we know the VIP in advance
  • Brief the staff about room number/name or any special request
