How to polish plate ware, glass ware and cutlery
PROCEDURE
Get materials needed
Collect the polishing clothes from the linen room as routine from your own outlet
Collect the correct cloth
Glass cloth for glass ware, condemned cloth for the plate ware and cutleries
Polishing Glass ware
Make sure you use only the glass cloth for polishing the glasses
Pull out the glass from the cabinet or glass rack
Use the container with hot water to polish the glasses
Using both hand to support each other to rub and wipe the glass
Try not to touch any parts of the glasses but only the stem and the bottom part of the glass
Make sure you do not leave your finger print on the glasses
Put back the clean glasses into the cabinet and glass rack be careful
Polish Plates
Using the clean condemned clothes to polish the plates
Using both hands to support polishing the plates
The plate must be hot
Use hot water if necessary
Always careful while you’re polishing the plates
Stacking the clean plates according to the type of plates
Store the clean plates in the free dust area or cover the plate trolley
3.4 Polishing the cutleries
3.4.1 Use clean condemned cloth, cutlery rack or round tray and container
with hot water for polishing cutleries
3.4.2 Use both hands to support and wipe the cutlery
3.4.3 Try not to touch any parts of the cutleries but the stem of the cutleries
3.4.4 After the polishing the cutlery, the clean cutleries must be covered or wrapped
and store in the proper place or cabinet
Mare sure the polishing clothes should be returned to the linen room for a change
